Ontario’s Top 50 Golf Courses – 2001

18th hole - National Golf Club of Canada

18th hole – National Golf Club of Canada

As voted by the Ontario Golf News and their select panelists.
In 2001, the official print publication of the Golf Association of Ontario (then the OGA), the Ontario Golf News, embarked on what is certainly the most thorough compilation ever assembled of the top golf courses here in the province of Ontario. They put together a select panel consisting of 45 of the most knowlegeable golf writers, amateur and professional golfers, key industry types, golf association executives and recreational amateur players to determine what were truly Ontario’s top 50 golf courses.

What follows is the most thorough and comprehensive listing to date of what are the finest public and private golf courses in this province. Special thanks goes out to Ted McIntyre of the Ontario Golf News who was gracious enough to grant us the ability to bring you this list.
